My last set of shelves I rubbed the stain, then finished with Minwax wax (paste) to complete. The stain came out very regularly (two Humongous connect libraries) and complete it was very stable without the "lights Sham" look of polyurethane. If the door to eat, we can add another layer of wax without the need for preparation with the sanding.
I am a bit of a geek when it comes to anything around the family. I like to lay bare existing finishes off my paraphernalia, or buy crappy Ikea pieces and refinish them so they look extravagant. Dedicated, I’d hoped there would be a think twice way, but there lawful wasn’t.
After a bit of research, I found that many Minwax products are low-VOC, so I don’t deprivation to give up my rule. They even use sustainable materials in the issue low and recycled bite the bullet in their cans. I recently started using the irrigate-based stains, meditative that they would be the eco-kind way out, but that was not the container.
